New Blog 11-19-2017
· You can adjust the layout of your Blogger posts using options
other than the ones available on the Compose tab; for example, you may include
a border on one of your images. The option to make HTML edits to your posts
opens up a multitude of extra layout options that are not available in the
default Blogger editing window. Take advantage of the variety of HTML editing
options to design a blog that stands out from other blogs that employ a similar
template.
1. Open a Web
browser window and navigate to the Blogger login page at google.com.
2. Type your Google
account email address and password into their respective fields, and then click
"Sign In."
3. Click "New
Post" if you wish to insert the bordered image into a new post, or click
"Edit Post" to select an existing post into which you wish to insert
a bordered image.
4. Browse to the
location in the post into which you want to insert the bordered image, and then
click the "Insert Image" icon above the post-editing window.
5. Browse to the
image you want to insert, and then click the "Add Selected" button.
Note the name of the image file that you insert, as you will need to use that
name to locate the image shortly.
6. Click the
"Edit HTML" tab above the post-editing window.
7. Browse to the
HTML code of the image that you just inserted. If you cannot find the image,
press "Ctrl + F" to open the Find tool in your browser, and then type
the name of your image file into the "Find" field to locate it.
8. Browse to the
"img border="0"" portion of your image's HTML tag.
9. Change the
"0" value to a number that represents the desired size of your image
border. For example, a border value of "1" would be a small border
while a border value of "5" would be larger. You can also click the
"Compose" tab to the right of the "Edit HTML" tab to see
how the border looks and then return to the "Edit HTML" tab to modify
the "img border" value.
